Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Ronald Nhan completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 2014. His professional interests lie in treating dry eye and myopia. He is certified to prescribe topical and therapeutic agents.
Dr. Maha Gabarin has been practicing optometry in Toronto since 1998, proudly serving the Lawrence Park community for over 15 years. She was previously an associate at Herzig Eye Institute working alongside corneal surgeons in the co-management of refractive surgery.
Dr. Eva Ho was born in Toronto, Ontario, and is a graduate from the New England College of Optometry (NECO). She has experience in Boston working with ocular pathology and myopia control methods, including orthokeratology lenses. Dr. Ho has a special interest in retinal pathology and philanthropy.

My appointment was not rushed, even if I was the last patient of the day before the weekend. His admin staff are very helpful and kind and helped me order contact lenses without pressuring to purchase anything extra. The appointment booking system is organized and the office follows up to confirm all appointments. Highly recommended!

Office is clean and you see the staff sterilizing everything. Makes you really feel safe to get an eye exam during COVID. They also email you your prescription so you do not have to worry about losing it. That is just an extra bonus. Thank you Dr. Nhan for helping me see again. Definitely will be going back and bring my family.

Tristan MaltmanI had seen Dr. Eva Ho at Fairlawn Eye Care recently for my cornea problem. My right eye cornea was wounded with cracks. I felt very painful and couldn't open my right eye at all for a couple of days. When I saw Dr. Ho, she had quickly relieved the pain in my right eye. She was very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and patient in answer all my questions. In each visit, she showed me the image of my right eye versus the last, showed my recovery was going on well. Her treatment was very effective and I am now fully recovered. The owner Dr. Nhan and assistants in Fairlawn Eye Care were very friendly and helpful, with a sense of humor to make me relax. All the appointments were on time and well managed. The clinic was bright, spacious and comfortable. The location which is right above the Lawrence and Yonge subway station is very convenient to me. I would highly recommend Dr. Eva Ho and the Fairlawn Eye Care to anyone who is looking for a good Optometrist and Eye Clinic.
Martin HoI recently saw Dr. Bonita Tsai for my regular annual eye check in November 2019 as I could not see my regular doc Mahar Gabarin at Fairlawn Eye Care until early 2020. This is the second time I have seen Dr. Tsai and am totally impressed with her professionalism, patience and willingness to explain several eye related issues, including a retina scan, and provide me with excellent feedback. I always enjoy my visits to Fairlawn and would totally recommend this eye care centre with its caring and helpful staff to anyone, particularly new patients.

I was of course nervous to go for an appointment during the pandemic but all of my worries quickly disappeared when I saw how distanced everyone is from each other and the rigorous cleaning protocols in place.
