Dr. Ronald Nhan was born and raised in Toronto and attended York University where he earned a Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 2014.
As part of his clinical education, Dr. Nhan received training at the Lexington Veteran Affairs Medical Centre in Kentucky where he treated and managed a variety of ocular diseases with an interest in glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, and dry eye. Since graduating, he has worked throughout the GTA, in Newmarket, Mississauga, and Ajax. Dr. Nhan grew up in the North York area and is happy to be serving the city of Toronto. He is certified to prescribe topical and oral therapeutic agents.
His professional memberships include the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Dr. Nhan has a professional interest in treating dry eye and myopia, welcoming patients of all ages. In his spare time, Dr. Nhan enjoys staying active at the gym, tennis, skiing and cheering on the Toronto Raptors.
